Viewed the stats: 87.5 % passing (3rd best in the team), 3 dribbles, 4 clearences, 3 tackles. He seems to cope with this intensity more and more with every game.

Great display, has more energy than Barry and is the first holding midfielder in a while at Everton that doesn't just rely on positional nouse but actually tracks back as well. On the ball he was calm in possession and looked for the forward pass not the sideways one to put someone else in trouble. I really think Besic McCarthy Barkley is our midfield combo for the foreseeable future.
