I like the USA, they are the team that are not really that good but always do well at tournaments.


I remember the confederations cup the other year where they got through their group with brazil after something like a 6 goal swing in their favour in the last game. They went on to almost beat the Brazilians in the final

Ghana was arguably better than us, we got 3. We were better than Portugal we got 1. We got 4, we are sitting pretty. If we play Germany like we did yesterday we got nothing to worry about.

Do people really not get that the Americans here are in on the jokes but at the same time care passionately about our national team? I know there is a duality at play here where we are partly taking the piss out of ourselves with the gifs but when the game starts, it's all business.
