i voted Mirko Slomka, lad...Martinez was in that poll, hardly picked anything up.

Brenda was hot stuff while he was at Swansea...it was near the end of that season where he and Lambert at Norwich (who got 2nd in the poll) really made good impressions. We just got knocked out meekly by Reading and that was the reason for starting the thread (unless I got my years mixed up...it was a shyte result n performance that inspired the poll anyway).

Anyway, just saying that there's thin lines involved here...and looking at the tart's Twitter account, I wouldn't take it that seriously, no matter how funny it seems as beered-up banter.

Please link this poll sir. I do not recall this at all. Pereira was bad enough but Rodgers? No way.

Well it looks like a fraction of the GOT membership believed the Brenda hype.

However, it took about 5 mins of his first press conference for us to suss him as the complete gobsh*te conman he is while the kopites still reckon he's Shankly reincarnated, so, overall, we probably come out of it looking okay.

Thank [Poor language removed] RM jibbed them off.

Agree with all that.

I seem to not remember that vote ?

why the fook would we have voted a blert that was sacked by Reading & Watford, and possibly hung around with Graham Rix

that's what i said early doors:

Brendan Rogers is the early frontrunner...

I think the danger with picking these managers who have nothing in their CV other than a decent last 6 months is risky. It's also very lazy, as those picking him are not doing any research apart from reading somewhere that Swansea are playing nice football this season.

Rogers had very mediocre spells at Watford and Reading...

don't wanna annoy anyone with this vaulting, apart from to show that there be thin lines here...let's do what the Christians do when they seek guidance as to how to deal with any given situation (what would Jesus do?).

In our case...what would Martinez do when told about this Brenda tranny story?

He'd flick off a bit of dust off his suit, give a quiet lol, and manfully change the subject.

see my post a few above your one, cheeks...where i vault lauded forum names like ijjymeister, muslim-nik, rozzers, degbie and Ale House legend Bainaar.

Ah found it mate, good viewing. Here's some other quotes:

An astute tactician like Rodgers is the very thing we need.

I would be delighted if Rodgers came and he should.

Every time I have watched Swansea they have been the best team on the park. Rodgersi s young and will only get better. Get him in Bill

I cant believe 16 people voted for a Wigan manager who had nearly took them down. You cant even compare the likes of him with Jol and Rodgers.

a very poor manager who has been gifted with a world class player in suarez, him aside Liverpool are very poor and sturridge is going through a jelavic period/

[Poor language removed], like I said that.

Link splinter.

you were his biggest champion, lid.

still, as embarrassing as all that is, we can never be as bad as posts like this:

I posted this in the results comparison thread but it might be more suited to this thread:

It is based on the match equivalent and time equivalent comparisons within that thread.

The basic idea is to give both match and time equivalents equal weighting and taking an average of them. i.e Liverpool's current average would be 8 as our match is 5 and time is 11. This average is then divided by the number of games passed in the season and multiplied by 38 and added to their total points from last year. So our average, 8 is divided by 15 times by 38 which yields 20.27, added on to last years total of 61 gets the tabled total of 81.27, our predicted finish based on how we have performed in comparison to this time last year and in the equivalent games. This will provide a picture of how the match and time equivalents will play out over a season given the current trends.

At the moment this is as follows:

Team Points
Arsenal 86.93
Liverpool 81.27
Man City 78.00
Chelsea 76.21
Tottenham 75.80
Everton 74.40
Newcastle 66.33
Southampton 61.27
Aston Villa 57.47
Man Utd 51.00
Norwich 50.33
Stoke 49.6
West Ham 46.13
Swansea 46.00
West Brom 42.67
Fulham 40.47
Hull 38.13
Cardiff 30.13
Crystal Palace 21.20
Sunderland 15.60

I like this one.
