I think we should take the opportunity to review his pay, to be honest. He sits very highly in the league table for managers' pay and I don't think our performances warrant this. He hasn't won a single thing, and I think he should be paid accordingly. I think he's a good manager, not a great one, and his pay should reflect this.

I agree, extra 30% should be enough to persuade him to stay

The five managers above him in the Premier League earn more, and those below earn less. Seems about right to me.

Comparisons to other leagues are pointless.

I hope he only stays if he's promised transfer funds.

Spineless after all this talk to sign a new contract under the same terrible working conditions. No ambition David.

i'm guessing you've previously transferred a significant amount of money to Nigerian bank accounts. On a separate point, I've got some magic beans for sale. Interested?

BREAKING NEWS: We have cut David Moyes into 1/2 from 7/2 to be next permanent Man Utd manager after a flood of overnight bets! #MUFC #EFC

I would be interested in seeing a comparison of managers salaries as a comparison of total club wages. I bet Moyes is sat very near the top. I'm a lazy man though, so I can't be arsed finding out.

Yeah but we're skint, apparently. Our manager never tires of telling us that. Surely we should cut our cloth appropriately with regards to wages?

£40m extra per year income now, i hardly think it's worth worrying about David Moyes' £3.5m a year wage packet. Especially when players like Heitinga and Neville are on £50k+ per week.

He's staying, but i think people are being harsh. Bringing his wages into for starters. Whats the point? Yeh he is on a cushy contract, but thats not the reason he'll be staying. No doubt in my mind that he's been promised some form of money.
