Lescott : would you have him back?

On the one hand you've got to put emotion to one side and ask yourself, does he improve our squad and give us a better chance of finishing in the top four? Yes he does.

On the other, you've got to think, how are we going to look if we keep letting our better players leave and then taking them back once they've either found that they can't get in another team or another team no longer deems them good enough?

Stepping back, I'd go for the first option. It's all about top 4 if we want to progress as a club. I wouldn't want to miss out on such a thing just because we didn't want a player because he'd been a snide to us in the past.

Cant see for the life of me how you can lump those three into the same category.

Osman has put in 250+ shifts for the Blues, has skill to burn and is easily good enough for any top 6 squad. Which is where we are. He's not world class by any means but he's very decent and workds his arse off. DEFINITELY GOOD ENOUGH

Naismith I'm willing to give more time to. Has a lot to prove for me and I have doubts whether he has the class to step up from Scotland but now see that he should be given more time. But ultimately the jury's out. DOUBT HE'S GOOD ENOUGH BUT GIVE HIM TIME

Anichebe is coming up to seven years since he made his debut. Seven years! He does something special once in a blue moon and as far as i can see has been raping the club for his wages in that time. Should have been shipped out years ago at any price. GET RID. NOT GOOD ENOUGH
