Right people on here, anyone fancy making a song to the chorus of samba de Janeiro? (the thing that played when a goal was scored in the euros)

about starting chants and songs, are people allowed to bring bullhorns into the games?

americans are arguably the worst fans out there, but at DC United games we always sing non-stop. not the whole stadium mind you, but 4 or 5 sections do, and usually one guy with a megaphone leads it (he let me use it once, was pretty sweet).

also do you guys sing a version of "[Poor language removed] on those bastards below"? thats probably my favourite football song, i'm not sure how popular it is around the world or who started it, or even if we sing it. (to the tune of bring back my bonny to me"

if i had the wings of an eagle
if i had the arse of a crow
i'd fly over anfield tomorrow
and [Poor language removed] on those bastards below

[Poor language removed] on [Poor language removed] on [Poor language removed] on those bastards belowwww

if i had the wing of a sparrow
& the arse of a dirty old crow
i'd fly over the streets of anfield
& [Poor language removed] on the bastards below, below
[Poor language removed] on , [Poor language removed] on

same song really

johnny todd though was a popular folk song around liverpool long before z-cars came along, kids used to sing it while playing

Johnny Todd, he took a notion
For to cross the ocean wide
And he's left his own true love behind him
Walking by the Liverpool tide

For a week, she wept with sorrow
Tore her hair and wrung her hands
Till she met another handsome sailor
Walking by the Liverpool sands

Fair young maid are you a weeping
For your Johnny gone to sea
If you'll wed with me tomorrow
I will kind and constant be

I will buy you sheets and blankets
I'll buy you a wedding ring
You shall have a silver cradle
For to rock the baby in

Johnny Todd came home from sailing
Sailing on the ocean wide
And he's found his fair and false one
Was another sailor's bride

All young men who go a sailing
For to fight the foreign foe
Do not leave your own true love like johnny
Marry her before you go

Whoah ho ho he's magic!
You knoooooow!
You'll never get past Joe Yobo!

same song really

Would you remember us singing one to the same tune as No-one likes us we don't care? It may have only been for a couple of matches?

right lads, back to work we need a song for the billinge lad "osman bin laar din".
Leon's SongLeon's Song . . . [focuses] in its lyrical way on inner beauty and hidden potential.

just found that on google!!
and seeing as gera decided to follow the glory trail to fulham, i've adapted this one

tune.... blondie, maria

he comes from down the lancs,
but not as far as the dirty mancs,
and when he gets the ball
he'll take you on and he'll beat you all
he's leon, he's leon osman
scoring goals from out of midfield
he's leon, he's leon osman

I reckon its a great song. If I'm not mistaken I heard it get sung once years ago by us. If I am mistaken then I have to say its one of the best football songs we've never sung.

Fair enough - it's just that everytime I hear it I cant help but think of millwall and their really irritating support. Remember their "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh" excuse for a song?
