Match Thread Chelsea v Everton. Sat Dec 13th. 3pm

We're going to this one, picked our tickets up yesterday. This will be the last match of our 2025 tour and fourth Everton game in 5 (couldn't get tickets for Bournmouth).

We are on a good run so going to this hoping for a draw at least and give them a tough game. Will be good to have options in defence and midfield, and Barry to continue his goal scoring streak.

Back to NZ the day after.

Big test. Not that there's anything to fear from Chelsea. Our record there is probably the one we most need to exorcise. We've just done 2 in the last 2 weeks. Key game in our title challenge :D

This isn't one of them but there are SIX of our games live on various Sky Sports channels before the end of January. I don't have Sky Sports on my Sky package but I do have them all on NOW TV so I'm looking forward to an Everton fest!

I would like to think as yet again we have a golden opportunity to elevate our season that the manager will be drilling into the players all week of how much desire and prestige for themselves they should attach to this fixture,a real chance to leapfrog them, are they happy with midtable obscurity? or have they the cajones to take this on and as at Old Trafford put an even worse record to bed at Stamford Bridge and pitch themselves at the top table, come on Everton, give us a little of our old Everton back👍💙

I don`t get to see all the games we play live on tv due to work and when I am off and we are on the tv I look forward to watching. Last 2 I sat down to were Spurs and Newcastle. The excitement of seeing the game wore off pretty quickly both times.

Different mindset from this group of players, as wins at OT and Bournemouth showed, so I won't be surprised to see us win it.

I felt the same after those two games as well but there's nothing like a winning run to turn that feeling around.
