Anyway, despite the absolute Moyesification of the team after the last game, I do get a feeling we have some goals to come and a clanger from their keeper.

They have. Magnified by how atrocious we have been. a 55 second goal didn't kick em up the backside. They could come out here and set the record for BMD goals scored that'll take up years to scratch off the books.

Pickford did the initial damage. Staying rooted on his line (as usual) for the 1st goal and rather than take a ball to his chest he decides to parry it between his own legs. 3 goals conceded unnecessarily that should easily be defended

This team just isn't capable of playing on the front foot because the full backs are so weak. If you pin the opposition back like we did for 15 minutes but have full backs who refuse to get involved in the attacking play then you're on a hiding to nothing.

Every time Grealish and Ndiaye get the ball they need to beat a winger and a full back to do anything worthwhile. It's embarrassing for us to be poor on both flanks in that area.

Can't really blame it on Barry. The few touches he's had have been OK. But if we can't create chances for him what is he supposed to do. All we have done is pass it around in front of their back line. Very predictable, no pace and Newcastle absolutely taking us to the cleaners scoring every time they attack.

2 were for sure. I don’t think he makes a difference. The team won without him and with 10 men a few days ago. This has been a shocking performance today. The lack of urgency from the off has set the tone.

For me Pickford at fault for 1st and 2nd goal. Needs to be stronger for corners. The second why is he trying to parry it. Just catch it and bring it into his body.
