Halves like that remind me we are playing with cloggers at CB (who've generally been OK this season), full backs who can't attack, a central midfield badly lacking any control and a striker who can't score.

But other than that, it's all good.

Can't really blame it on Barry. The few touches he's had have been OK. But if we can't create chances for him what is he supposed to do. All we have done is pass it around in front of their back line. Very predictable, no pace and Newcastle absolutely taking us to the cleaners scoring every time they attack.

Horrific start. Set piece struggles. We actually played ok for a while then got in behind a few times but couldn't break them down. Pickford howler shouldn't have happened but could have been cleared 3 times in the build up.Why does Tarkowski insist on standing in front of a keeper every damn shot..... surely this needs to be sorted .The 3rd goal was Tim he is miles off being related to a premier League midfielder.

Tarkowski, Tim, shocking. Both should be hauled off.

Our fullbacks are non existent, our tackling has been awful, Newcastle look like they could score at will. We seem reluctant to cross or shoot, their goalkeeper hasn't been tested.

Exactly. For years all we try to do is isolate a striker with no hope against three defenders. We’re putting no one in the box. Zero shots on goal. Pathetic.

But it was a sliding-door moment because a it was 0-1 at the time. I think tonight has proved how important Gana is for us. Tim is a terrible defender.
