This new nonsense about a manager signing off players.

I would love to know whether it is:

1. Yes, I love this player and all over him signing
2. He’s ok, not my preference but we need bodies and I’m sure I can get something out of him if we can’t get x or y
3. Yeh I can see why you’re buying him. Not sure he’s ready but has potential

Very easy for the CEO to say all 3 are signed off by a manager but a marked difference

It seems like away of splitting the blame/credit across three areas rather than just Moyes or Nick Hammond as an individual.
