I think it's an obligation to buy unless we're relegated. So the loophole is to get relegated.
Don’t tempt me with a good time.

Does it not trigger after a certain number of games like Alcaraz?
Just a straight obligation to buy mate no matter how many games.
Jeepers.
Someone mentioned the other day that Freiburg wanted the obligation to buy because of his injury record.
He lost all his strength when his hair got cut.
Sounds like he had it at the beginning of the break. So he’s always a couple of weeks in.
Sounds like he’ll be back for forest.
I reckon this is what’s been keeping him out and they’ve taken the opportunity to address it during the international break ahead of losing a couple of players for the AFCON.
Last thing we needed this tbh. Garner and Tim are both on 4 yellow cards?
Heaven forbid they both get booked in the same game. Or if Jake gets injured..
I’ve no idea what we were thinking in the summer window. We left ourselves with a squad of 22 players (the bare minimum) with 2 massively injury prone (Coleman, Rohl), 2 young players that Moyes doesn’t trust (Aznou, Dibling), 4 that Moyes obviously doesn’t fancy to varying degrees (McNeil, Patterson, Alcaraz, Beto), 2 going to Afcon (Gana, N’Diaye) and immediately had Jarrad injured.
December could get very messy.
The summer window was a joke. We wasted weeks and weeks pursuing ridiculous pie in the sky targets like Malick Fofana before we’d even constructed the basic skeleton of a squad. Despite being told it was better to wait until the end of the window to secure our top targets numerous times on here, we ended up getting to the end of the window and committing £20m of next summer’s budget on this crock out of sheer panic and desperation. Who could’ve possibly saw that one coming.
