2025/26 Nathan Patterson

With the club's PSR troubles firmly behind us, surely it's time to take the hit. Let him leave on a free transfer and give him the opportunity to try to forge a career at a level he's better suited to.

Need all the bodies we can get tbh. He’s not great, but equally he’s not terrible.

People like to say he’s absolutely disgustingly bad but he could be useful. Kept a clean sheet playing left back v Arsenal last season btw.
It’s a weird thing where people want to bracket everyone as being amazing or terrible and so either massively overrate them or make out like they’re completely useless. I don’t think Patterson good enough to be a first choice right back in the PL but he’s not hopelessly out of his depth by any means.

Have you cleared this comment with @davek prior to posting? 😀

Sometimes it just doesn't work out for a player and a club and this is one of those moments. If he gets over his injuries I think he could be a solid player for someone that operates wingbacks but it's best for us to part ways.

If he had ANYTHING about him he'd have been hammering the manager's door down for the past couple of seasons to be loaned out or sold.

He hasn't though, and the layabout has just took the big wages and sat on his arse.

He hasn't even been involved with club charity work while he has been "injured".

Time to get shut of this loafer in January if we can, but I reckon he'll be looking to get a free transfer to fill his pockets even more.

Patterson has, by any metric you care to use, been a disastrous signing.

DANGER ALERT ☣️☢️⚠️⛔

He might do a Lookman, move on and become a top class star abroad. Hindsight is a fine thing I know.
Only joking about Patterson though, he looked out of his depth, typical of nearly all Scots who try to make it in the PL.

Sorry folks but Dave is bang on here.

A horrific signing who hasn't done anything to make a success out of this move and won't entertain going elsewhere.
