Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

I dont think I've ever head a crowd shout for so many handballs in a game. Must have been about 9 times

More of a penalty than the few at the start of the year.. I wouldnt have complained if that was given.

It was, but imo still not a penalty. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was given, but I would have complained. This was one of the few times common sense was applied, I would have said the same the other way around.

The other player is at least a couple yards away from Keane (can't even see him in the picture above), and Keane has got both hands out to the same side away from his body, in a weird position imo.

OK a couple of yards, it's still blasted at him and almost impossible to get his hands froom his weird position. An even weirder position for his hands would be locked in by sides in a 'natural position'. At the end of the day it wasn't given (correctly imo) and some people will think we got away with one. If so then it is about bloody time

can’t quite capture the contact, but 100% if that was Them, Utd, City etc they’re getting a pen for this.

God knows what made him put his hands in this weird position. It looks like he's trying to be a steward at the game, showing where you should be sitting. "Straight through, enjoy the game!"

It was probably a 50 50 call and we were on the right end

We were on the other end of a couple of borderline calls against spurs.

Can’t really blame the makems screaming like kopites for anything that even sort of resembled a hand ball - everyone, including the corrupt officials and the var whoppers haven’t got a scooby doo what a proper handball is anymore.

Deserved win. 3 disallowed for offside - 2 certain but the last one for Barry when KDH scored was harsh. Can't see how the lino saw contact from where he was. Would have been interesting if goal was given - but VAR would almost certainly disallowed it - cos it's us.
Grealish getting fouled all over once more with little protection.

Not for me, Barry makes a movement very close to the ball in an attempt to win it so its offside.

Yes it was a clear slap but negligible force. Complete over reaction from an officious twerp of a ref Tony Harrington. Yellow would have sufficed.

It wasn’t a shocking decision. You’d hope he could have been a bit more lenient with it being a team mate and just booked him, but it’s not a shocker by any stretch, there’s undoubtedly a very good case for it to be a red.
