The spiel for it is a complete lift from the Everton Stadium.

Did their architect not implore them on the virtues of scarcity and the small size of Madison square gardens?

Or did they just do what they were told and design the biggest stadium in Birmingham?

Meanwhile the season ticket waiting list grows and grows.

As brilliant as the new stadium is, only Everton could convince themselves that smaller is better when every single one of our historical peers and even clubs in the championship did the same equations as us and decided 60k plus was the magic number.

Everton - nah it’s ok we’ll just have a smaller one than everyone else.

Said in here a few months ago Birmingham are showing more ambition than us building a stadium that big and the general consensus in the replies was that they won't build it.

Now it's confirmed, a team that was in League One last season has bigger ambition than us.
