There was rumours going around my work a senior manager was either doing this or had a side piece because someone seen him going into a public toilet with some bird one day. The bloke was universally disliked so I reckon someone made it up to spite him.

My missus step dad was a copper with Merseyside police and got caught with a prostitute in his police car! In the 90's.. horrible barsteward by all accounts. Sacked etc etc..

A fella who was my line manager, who we all thought was petty, shifty and unreliable, got done for fraud and embezzlement a few years after I'd left the place. Mates still there were utterly overjoyed he got jail time.

Plenty of internal fraud in the Civil Service, not least staff paying benefits to themselves.
