He’s full of cack.
It was so difficult he hung on for years trousering millions as a club director and board member.
Part of his job was to manage up as well as down.
See he didn’t have much to say on the Mina, Gomez, Allan, Bernard, Delphi, Gbamin signings that cost the club and absolute mint curtesy of the horrendous contracts he ‘negotiated’…. Just the one that got away….

Mina: was our best defender when fit. Injury issues not Brands fault.
Gomes: was very good on loan, perm made sense. Up and down after that, unlucky injury made it worse
Allan: not his signing.
Bernard: cheap initial deal, very talented player who had some good moments, but overall didn't perform/produce enough. Still not a terrible stain on MB's record
Delph: guessing they thought they were getting another Gareth Barry. Got this one wrong.
Gbamin: horrible injury issues, poss not helped by the club. Would he have been good enough anyway? Hard to tell given his time here, but not Brands fault.
