Because they signed up to be governed by the Premier League rules. Any punishment issued under these rules is the penalty for any breach. They cannot then be punished separately. The courts would merely point them back to the League to deal with the complaint.

The PL don't want their tournament / product being overshadowed by any disciplinary decision that'll soak up the back pages for days. They'll use the cover of UEFA's international games to announce the decision and have it out of the way for the return of PL games.

That depends on what the courts findings are.
If there is a breach of law or fair procedure then the courts have to deal with that.

Seen this now on our supporters group WhatsApp, 3 million fine plus 6 points suspended for 2 years.

Be almost worth saying just give us the points deduction now just in case we blow it later and there are 18 decent teams in the league.

Maybe they ARE waiting until April to see how many points we have so they then know how many to deduct us for relegation purposes.
