Everton have give the thumbs up to Jack Rodwell to train with Everton’s under-23s to maintain his fitness as he looks for new club.
Rodwell, who had his contract cancelled by Sunderland in June, is training with David Unsworth’s squad in order to stay in shape according to the Liverpool Echo.
Last month, the 27-year-old failed to secure a deal with Watford following a trial.
