This weeks Voice in the Crowd features a really enthusiastic Grand Old Team Twitter follower, Claire Burgess. I’m sure all you tweeters out there can get following her and Grand Old Team (if you don’t already that is).
Claire is 27 and from Aigburth, and is also a season ticket holder in the Upper Gwladys Street end. She has been attending matches for years, and tells me her dad used to lift her up on his shoulders when she was small so she could see the action.
How long have you been an Everton Fan?
Claire Burgess: Since nine months before I was born.
What is you favourite memory at Goodison Park?
CB: My favourite memory of Goodison Park is when everyone invaded the pitch on the last game, when we narrowly avoided relegation on two occasions.
Your favourite player (and why)?
CB: My absolute all time favourite player has got to be Duncan Ferguson.
….And your least favourite player?
CB: I’m going to say Phil Neville.
