Confidence High

Marouane Fellaini believes winning back to back Premier League fixtures for the first time this season will instil much needed confidence for Everton.

After a barren spell leaving Everton languishing near the footer of the table, victories over Wolves and Bolton have catapulted the Club from 17th to 9th in the table and Felli reckons the renewed confidence will help us kick on.

He told evertontv: “We´ve not got two wins from two games (before last Saturday) and it was an important victory at Bolton.

“It was a good game, we were lucky because they had to play with 10 players but I think it was a red card. It´s a great result. It´s good for the confidence of the team ahead of next week.

“Stoke have the same sort of style as Bolton but we are playing at home, have confidence and we will hope to win again.”

“It´s my second goal of the season – it´s not my job to score but when I score I´m happy because it is a bonus for me.

“It was also nice to score at the end in front of our fans. I would like to thank them for their support – they helped the team a lot.”
