Barcelona v Valladolid

Dear god it's a priviledge to watch footie like this. Valladolid have done nothing wrong but it's 4-0 to barca. All four to Eto'o. He's scored 13 in 10 games now. Sparkling stuff. Barcelona back to their 'dream team' best after the decline in the last couple of seasons. I know a lot on here don't like/rate la liga but if you don't enjoy this you don't like football and probably put pineapple on your pizza

would Fabregas fit at Barca?

because of my repeat sins, I dont have sky or setanta, so la liga is foreign to me. I caught that Real lost in the CL.

Yeah Fabregas would fit in perfectly in Barcelona, but wouldn't be a first team regular.
As for Real Madrid, yeah 2 goals by Del Pierro saw them off on wednesday. But they beat Malaga tonight 4-3 all 4 by Higuain
Oh and Barca finished 6-0. Gudjohnson and Henry scoring the other two.

I get a distinct air of the scotish league about la liga, in that, it is dominated by two good sides, and the rest are, by and large, just also rans.

granted i'd rather it that way than the corruption that is serie a, but still, for me it has always seemed a two horse race.

Barca are in amazing form right now. Every week they seem to be turning teams over 5 and 6 nil. It's amazing to watch. You have to say that they're the best team in the world at the moment. I just hope they can continue this form into the new year and lift the Champions League.

I take your point in that the two giants do dominate the league but the big difference is the quality of the teams behind them is really undisputed when you consider their record in Europe, be it CL or Uefa cup.

Looking through some of their results. So far this season they've had two 6-1's, two 5-0's and a 6-0 this weekend.

Eto'o has 13 goals from 10 games, Messi 6 from 9 (with 14 assists!!). Even Henry is averaging a goal every other game. The Gran Classico on December 15th should be a cracker.

Selling Ronaldinho is the best move they've ever made.

Totally agree. Ronaldinho's relationship with the club and the spanish media was deteriorating. His negotiation was good for both parts.
