Pretty clear that Briatore's ben wanting an Italian in charge since they invested, plus for the kind of cash they've been pumping in, they want some sexy top-class football and Dowie's not really the type to provide that.
Victim of circumstance really, be massive if they can get Mancini to come in though.

I think hes a good coach but i would question his abilty to spot a good player as such his transfer market dealings arent the best.
Has to be said though clubs are luinatics continuously sacking managers, consistency is the only gaurented way to have a chance of succcess. Although even if it it harsh i suspect that Mr Dowie after being sacked by a few clubs has had his contract payed in full, not bad work if you cqan get it.
