Lionel Messi thread, if u hate him stay out
Lionel Andrés Messi (born June 24, 1987 in Rosario, Santa Fe Province) is an Argentine footballer who plays for FC Barcelona in La Liga. He is also a member of the Argentine national team.
He has drawn comparisons to Diego Maradona, and Maradona himself named Messi his "successor". Gonna change the thread a little, who do you THINK is the best player in the world, i vote for the above player.

Maradona recently criticised him for being greedy. Diego's now bigging up his son in law, Sergio 'Kun' Aguero, the Atletico Madrid striker. Fact is they're both shit hot. Aguero is often compared to Romario, the Brazilian striker. Hope he can put on a show against the shite.

Messi sure put on a show when Barca dumped Atletico recently. Best player in the world for me, an absolute joy to watch.

 I can see it now. Everton lineup Messi and Aguero for 50p and a packet of winegums swooop.

Iniesta is another played I'm very fond of. He's been superb for Barca in the last few seasons but had a slow start to the Euro champs this summer, before really picking up in the latter stages. He's such a smart player with great feet. It's amazing how Barca seem to churn these kind of players out with amazing regularity.

Andres Iniesta is the tits. Did you see his goal against Belgium the other night. Pure class. let the ball do most of the work. why touch it if it's going where you want it to.
Wouldn't have him at Everton though. He's too little
