Anybody know when the fixture list will become mutated to suit Sky and BT?

I would guess about mid July as they don't announce games later in the season until about 4 weeks before. I wouldn't make too many plans for Sundays this season, and I have a feeling that the game at Leicester will be on one or the other.

We're at Anfield first this season. That hasn't happened in a while.

Expect us to have about 4 games and for Liverpool to have their entire season on BT.[/

Liverpool, depending on their champions league fixtures will probably be the super Sunday game whilst we just happen to be the 3pm kick off without television

I doubt the Leicester game will be on. The Sky darlings are usually on (Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and these days they like to shoehorn in City and Spurs too.) They used to like sticking in a newly promoted one, but with Burnley playing Chelsea opening weekend, that fills that quota.

Shame, I was hoping the Leicester game does move to Sunday as a big gang of my mates are going paintballing on the Saturday so Id have liked to do both.

Everton twitter page stated they will know by a week today

That right? Must have missed that, I havent been on as much last couple of days with no World Cup games! Still waiting eagerly, I work shifts so I have to get my day off requests in pretty early. Already took the liberty of booking Sundays the week after all the Euro games, the advantage of being in the Europa League rather than Champions League I guess, you at least know right now that all the games will be Thursday and Sunday, so easier to get the days off early.

EL is not always on a Thursday though. Only if there's CL on in the same week.

That used to be the case, but now since the EL has moved to the same format as the CL with 4 teams in the group stage, it is always on the same week, so EL will always be on a Thurs now

Yes and I think the rs pre-season games are on BT(kopite)sport as well

Didn't know that.

A bit off message I know, but on the subject of UEFA diktats on the playing of domestic fixtures, that one they forced in last season forbidding domestic cup matches from being played in the same week as CL games is a recipe for fixture pile up and wants kicking into touch.

Its already caused problems the last few years since they started splitting the first knockout round games over 4 weeks. Chelsea have twice had to play 4th round replays on 5th round weekend, one of them the one we beat them in pens on. I dont think its just domestic Cup games, its any domestic games up to a certain level. Not sure how high that goes, for example if the Championship also have to move, but I do know they dont allow games to be televised at all at any level if there is CL games on. Im sure Sky got in trouble with UEFA a good few years back before they got the CL rights, because they would quite often televise a Championship match on CL nights.

We'll be on the same amount of times as West Ham.

Don't know how many games will be announced but all our games in the first lot will be against teams who finished above us in the league last season apart from one random one like West Brom away.
