So many of these are hard choices. Not knowing which was your best player in a season is a very good (or very bad) signal.
Player Of The Year
I'll pick Coleman, but it's a fairly even split between him and McCarthy for me.
Young Player Of The Year
Stones has been effortlessly dominant. Barkley has been tremendous too, but even saying such shows how great Stones has been.
Biggest Surprise Player Of The Year
Stones and Naismith.
Most Disappointing Player
For a full season player, Mirallas, but that's relatively harsh. It may be better said that he was one of the few that didn't impress as playing better (maybe my hopes for him were too high). Pienaar has been lacking at times, but he wasn't really disappointing. Kone has shown very little, so he gets a shout as well should Alcaraz.
One To Watch Next Season
I think Stones will be delightful to watch for a long time, and McCarthy could impress all of England as he continues to improve. I think a healthy Gibson add the most excitement at Goodison next season.
