.....don't think Barkley will be competing for a central midfield spot 'soon'. Much more likely he'll be competing with Naismith for No10 but that could still be seen as a positive.

Winger -- keeper -- centre back

Then I think in 18 months we will see a top attacking midfielder in and barkley moved back.

....18 months? I think that's what RM quoted when he said that will be his natural position.

I was just thinking that Jan and Summer he will need any cash to get a keeper/centre back and winger.

After that he will likely not find a top attacking mid in Jan 2016 so will sign one in summer 2016 and move barkley back into centre mid...

Ledson won't be ready yet for at least another 18 months.
Another worry would be out of the youngsters there is only really garbutt who could step up at the moment.
Browning looks promising but he gets caught out of position a lot and i still don't think they have worked out his best position
