Magaye Gueye

Anyone else here think Gueye deserves more of a shot in the first team? Tonight would have been a perfect chance to give a run about for 10 minutes. Pienarr was on a yellow card with about 10 to go. Gueye could have come on and given Newcastle some trouble with his pace. I really don't think Moyes will appreciate what he has here until Gueye goes somewhere else. He's been at the club for a while and deserves his chance IMO.

I thought he did admirably in the Derby when he came on for Mirallas and played a solid 45 minutes. He can play on the left or the right and his decent skill and pace. He's never going to get any better sat on a bench all the time. With fiscal restraints and injuries, nows the time for Moyes to give someone like Gueye a shot IMO. I can understand someone like Francisco Junior having to wait his turn because he plays in the middle but there has been a hole on the right for the past month with both Coleman and Mirallas down. It doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe I'm way off mark, I dunno

This won't go well.

He's not very good mate.

And runs like he's going up the Travelator on Gladiators even though he's on flat ground.

He looks good against poor teams mate. Unfortunately with him he lacks two things: pace and the ability to beat a man.

He also looks like he's running underwater. We bought him cheap but can't see it working out for him.

Would you agree though that maybe if he had more of a chance in the first team he could conceivably work on those aspects of his game? Would you go as far to say that he's a lost cause at this point?

he crosses well but looks to slow for are game , might do well elsewere but the p[rem isnt the place for him, might get proved wrong as he is still young, maybe a move inside would suit him?

He's slower than Neville. Runs like he's coated in tar. I would go as far as saying he is a lost cause as a viable winger in England.

Impossible to say mate. What I would say is that you've got to take your chances when they come up and he hasn't really. He's at an age where if he was going to make his mark on the team he would have. Maybe he's just not cut out for the British game.

i have no problems with opinions..BUT gueye does NOT have pace, why do you think he does?!? i wouldnt right him off, hes young and has shown a few good things, he needs to change tho as he will never be a winger
