Aguero is a great player so was Suarez, Naismith is a great trier which should be par for the course when you represent a top club like Everton.we won't be winning any trophies with this squad so why extend its lifespan?
Naismith is a great player mate, so its understandable we did this, how Martinez is using the players in his 11 is another issue right now. Same with Lukaku, ok it was a steep price but since we bought him we havent played to his strengths at all, cant blame the player for that.

If we can get Stones Oviedo Mirallas and Mccarthy in the team I think we can get back to more of what we were last season .

Martinez has got to be ruthless though and start dropping players who are not doing the business ,will he do it I'm not so sure .

play wingers, don't care who, the most important thing in a football team is balance, once you have that players can be more than the sum of their parts. Barkley and besic together in the center, if macarthy is fit that is the only reason to not play this partnership, many of us spoke up about roberto shoehorning barry in at every chance he gets, and it is now evident it's an issue, if he's in top form then sound, if others are playing well in his position then let him earn his place back, martinez will turn fans against barry such is his blindness to him

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Stones Baines
Besic McCarthy
McGeady Barkley Mirallas
Eto'o
We need wingers with pace.

This except Lukaku for Eto'o. Eto'o should be a half an hour player, feel sorry for Lukaku. Can't ask him to do much more than hes already doing. Won't score goals in a team with 3 number 10's who thrive on goal scoring.

He's got 2 goals and 6 assists so far this season.

Garbutt has played one properly competitive match for us after a season in league one.

Awful awful shout.
He started the season very well, our best player imo, but hasn"t regained that form after his hamstring injury. He was also wearing strapping on his left thigh today which I don't think I've seen before (and I look at his thighs quite a lot:blush:)

Given our packed fixture list think it might be a good idea to rest him for a match and at home to Stoke is probably the best one to give Garbutt or Oviedo a run out. Given the size of the Stoke team Garbutt makes more sense, especially if Mirallas isn't fit and we need another winger which Oviedo has done in the past.

Yep, cause he's the biggest issue we have atm...

He's actually crucial to a lot of what's gone wrong. Lukaku and Barkley have been badly affected by shoving him in the team. What we gained in terms of his few goals and workrate has been more than offset by the disruption to the pace and pattern we play at as a team.

All down to Martinez that. He should never have been swayed by Naismith getting a couple of goals and leaving him in to nail down a place.

Badly affected? Like in the QPR game? Barkley's best performance this season. And Lukaku's best performances have come when Naismith has been in the side as well.

Total twoddle.

Aguero and Suarez are world class players, not great players. Naismith is one of our best players, the reason we have to extend the contract is to avoid running the risk of losing him easily and keep his value at his worth.
