how long did it take to check in and get sat down on train mate

give yourself at least half an hour to get through scanning the ticket,then the bag check, then the passport check.They announced boarding about 20 mins before the train goes.I was there an hour before and had a pint, I'd have thought it'll be busier tomorrow.
