Does anybody know if he has an Everton future ?
He has recently turned twenty and has two seasons experience playing first team football with Brentford.
If he isn't ready for first team football now he will never be.

From the very little I have seen of him he doens't seem anywhere near the level we would need him at.

Bidwell and John Lundstram will be playing against each other this weekend for their respective loan teams. Lundstram looks like he could break into the first team for us in the next few years.

Some take longer than others to develop or get their chance. I can't see us letting him go when our cover at left back is basically Sylvain Distin. The question is who is more ready, Bidwell or Garbutt?

Garbutt will make it for sure. Not sure about Bidwell, but he is a good player as well. Both of them will hopefully get a chance in pre-season.

I really dont think he will be better than Garbutt or Oviedo, so probably not.

Not seen anything of Garbutt, how good is he? Been at Everton for while now, anyone think he'll take over from Baines long term?

    Genuine question here lads:

    Garbutt or Bidwell?

Only one of them will be lucky to get through.

I doubt anybody has seen enough to judge either properly.

I remember seeing Bidwell playing against BATE a couple of years ago, he looked pretty sharp.

But Garbutt hasn't really done anything to prove he's decent yet.

I think thats another reason why getting the Europa is vital, more matches to give these younguns some proper gametime.

Especially with the size of the squad we've got.
