Love to see Jags given a run at right back. That run and cross he put in for Fellaini was top class. Hate to bag Hibbo and Neville because they are top blues and always give 100%, but we may struggle to make the CL with either or both of them slowing down our attack. Jags struggled at right back during his initial settling in phase (as did Baines remember) but it would be a completely different ball game now. And most importantly it would allow us to bring in Heitinga, giving us the strongest back 4 in the league.

Jags is going to prove that he is in the top three best defenders in the league this year as far as I'm concerned. What he lacks in pace (and it's not like he gets skinned regularly) he more than makes up for with his tackling, positional sense and reading of the game. If he stays fit I personally expect him to be first choice for England before the season is out.

You only have to look at some of Distins recent performances to see defenders can be at their best well into their 30's. Jagielka will still be putting in these sorts of performances for at least another 3 years so definitely keep hold of him.

Can't think of many central defendefs who can put in a first time cross like Jags did for Fellani's goal on Saturday.

Let's hope that he has also got rid of the hoofball from his game.

Other than that he is top quality.
