his pace was very useful on a number of occasions for us last year. Even if he didn't directly contribute with a goal or assist he put defences onto the back foot.

Completely agree. He provides something completely different to what we have now, someone who can get in behind defences.
His big issue has been his selfishness - if he can learn to look to lay the ball off sometimes then he could be a fantastic player.

It's not necessarily Deulofeu we miss, it's a player like him we miss.

I loved this kid, and I probably over rated him last season as I fully admit he had the capability to utterly do your head in, but we miss a player who scares defenders.
