The raods are appalling, there is no train network, there airports arent big enough.

If you drive between soem cities there are certain parts you have to do in convoy with a police escort.

The army are now based in the favelas (tin hut slum towns) and daily fighting with gangs and drug mobs.......avoid Brazil like the plague at the moment.......

I actually think teh security will be OK as long as you stick to the main tourist areas but the whole thing will be chaos
