If its just a straight choice between the two for the next two matches, would go for Mcgeady.

He is better at helping out Coleman and coleman trusts him enough to keep the ball so will overlap more than he does with Deulofeu. Although McGeady still deson't seem fully match fit so would bring on Deulofeu to run at tired defenders for the last 20 mins or so

But since Pienaar is likely out for at least the next match, perhaps put Mcgeady on left & Deulofeu on right.

Think for S'ton will be Barkley (sub Osman) on left and Mcgeady (sub Deulofeu) on right with Naismith as number 10.

losing mirallas is a big blow, he was hitting form and was fresh having being left out abit lately....

Actually though - McGeady definitely. Deserves the chance.

Can pick out a better pass by the looks of things whilst Del can be very wasteful - McGeady looked very much up for it against Palace in the first half.

Both will play IMO.

But if we're choosing one, I'd go McGeady. He has really good control and composure on the ball which will serve him well against a high pressing team like Saints.
