Another 'brilliant' piece of business from Kitbag. Going to be a lot of disappointed Blues this Christmas.

IMPORTANT REPLICA KIT UPDATE

Everton regret to inform supporters that due to high demand certain items of 2014/15 replica kit are close to selling out.

This season's home, away and third kits have all proven hugely popular with supporters, with total sales approximately 65 per cent up on those in 2013/14.

As a result, and with Christmas fast approaching, stocks of some sizes are now becoming increasingly limited.

Among the items on that list are home and third shorts and socks in all boys' sizes, plus away socks in all boys' sizes.

Home shirts in medium boys and third shirts in extra large boys are also in short supply.

A full list of limited stock items can be seen below:

Home shirts – men’s: 2XL & 3XL, women’s: 8 & 10, boys: medium

Home shorts – boys: all sizes
Home socks – boys: all sizes

Away shirts – infants: 6-7yrs, babies: 3-6mnths
Away shorts – men’s: S, boys: S, M & XL
Away socks – boys: all sizes

3rd kit shirts – men’s: 3XL, boys: XL
3rd kit shorts – men’s: S, L & XL, boys: all sizes
3rd kit socks – men’s: M, boys: all sizes

Everton and retail partner Kitbag would like to apologise to any supporter who may encounter disappointment when looking to purchase certain items.

Further stocks of 2014/15 home kit will be available in the new year, though fans are advised these will not be in store or online until February 2015.

Unbelieavable. Apologies are simply not good enough for a [Poor language removed] up of such proportions. A full explanation of how this has been allowed to happen should be issued by the club, Kitbag and Umbro. I know that the club gets a fixed revenue from Kitbag but I also recall that if sales went over a certain number then it would get a cut. If the goods aren't being supplied then the club is losing out as well as the supporters. Absolutely appalling. The Kitbag deal has to be the worst, of many, ever signed by the Club. Such shortsightedness is typical of a Club run by amateurs with a small club mentality. WE ARE EVERTON FFS.

Bugger that. Not that those are my sizes or that it will affect me getting a strip in for Christmas, but it's incredibly slack and poor. They should have anticipated the demand.

sums up this season. Everton in the perfect position to capitalise but fail to take advantage and do their best to eff it up infact. From the transfer window to the results to the kits ffs

Retails been bad for many years but this year its been utterly gash.

How many more years have we got to put up with kitbag for

What a joke, Kitbag are a laughable business and Elstone should be sacked by the club for even locking us into such a terrible deal with them. We have the worst retail deal of any club in the league by a country mile, absolute mickey mouse.

In any well run business, if you made a decision as bad as this one, which left your employer going short on potential income, you would be sacked for it.

Blame for this lies squarly with Kitbag, though it could be argued the blame lies with Suntan Bob for handing over the commercial operation to them to begin with.

It will be Kitbag who told Umbro:

"We need 200'000 home in all sizes, and 100'000 each of 2nd and 3rd kits"
(Just guessing numbers obvs)

Umbro will allocate production time and fulfill this order and deliver them to Kitbag.

Kitbag (being Kitbag) have been 'surprised' at the demand for the new kit but obviously Umbro have other obligations to fulfill before they can bang out more Everton kits.

It's poor forecasting by Kitbag and the fact they don't want to be left with loads of unsold stock at seasons end.

So, are the club & Kitbag the only ones that didn't see this coming? Seriously? Crap badge, half arsed kit, they'd know orders were down and should have expected that all the people that didn't buy a kit last season would be itching to buy this seasons!

Poor, poor, poor!
