There is absolutely zero chance we'll finish 4th.

    Obviously.
When I did it I honestly tried not to take the p*ss. Ive got us beating City okay but still losing against the ****e (obviously), Spurs and Arsenal.

I think Spurs are well set and flying but Chelsea and Arsenal have plenty of slip ups to come.

Beating Chelsea away to deny them a CL spot & see us clinch it?

    Ok mate, sounds realistic......

Yep. United and Fulham away are both games they could easily lose. A point against a Villa team fighting for that last relegation spot and then a last day bonanza against us. Moyes on his last match and Benitez with a police escort.

    It's on.

My eternal optimism allows me to believe we will finish fourth, that is all, no score predictions, no planet alignments, just optimism.

I love the way you've actually thought of the scenario & convinced yourself of the validity of your overly enthusiastic predictions mate

So Chelsea are going to get 12 points from 10 games, while we're going to get 21 despite having harder fixtures ?

Bold final result there, going against form so to speak! Not a lot of draws there either... highlighted the predictions I find more.... 'interesting'... Can see Chelesa and Arsenal both getting several more points, and us several less tbh. Arsenal have a pretty esay run in compared to the rest tho, only two 'big' teams.

Also, IF we get to Semi / Final, Moyes WILL need to rest players.

We play the ****e at Anfield 6 Days before a potentiall Cup final.

As much as I dont like resting players, Baines, Fellaini and Mirallas will NEED to swerve that game.

They will love nothing more than putting our stars out.

    Yes.

Dont underestimate the Benitez crap at Chelsea and Jelly will start slotting for us like a champion thoroughbred on acid.

I wish it were true but I think 7th is where we will finish this year

As for the cup? Good draw and some luck, who knows

If we take 6 points from Arsenal & Spurs then I would agree that it's back on.

It's a big ask. TBH I don't think we'll do it. Let's face it, our record in these sort of do-or-die matches that really can move us on to the next level is very poor.

Realistically I think we're going to finish 8-10 points behind the 4th place finisher.
