I've been to Malaga's ground a few times...but not recently. The away section is (was) situated in the top corner between the Gol Alto & Tribuna stands. I suggest anyone who tries to get tickets (other than via an allocation to EFC) should try to get Gol Alto tickets (The end nearer to the city centre). The Malaga equivalent of 'Ultras' tend to go behind the goal in the Fondo Bajo & another crowd of younger supporters, including ex-pats, (flags etc & singers) go in the top corner 'pen' situated where the Preferencia & Gol Alto seats meet. Catering inside the ground is (was) limited unless you like sunflower seeds!
There are a number of small bars in the area & temporary match day bars flog ale in plastic glasses in the Avenue across the road from the Gol end. Other bars and fast food gaffs are in the Rosaleda shopping centre nearby.

I know supporters in Spain get as ripped off as we do, but the prices seem a bit steep for a pre-season friendly.

Still no information from Everton about tickets for match (17 days to match). The Malaga supporters on their site seem to be getting 'itchy' about their arab owners....debts, players not paid, Cazorla to Arsenal??? Is the Costa del Sol Cup going the same way as the Java Cup?? Lets hope not, I would imagine about a thousand have booked their flights over there.

    PMSL at this:

    http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archiv...ga-ticket-news

Tickets for Everton’s friendly match with Malaga will go on sale from the Box Office at 9am on Tuesday, August 7.

The Club has received an allocation of 750 tickets for the fixture that takes place in Spain on Saturday, August 11 (exact kick-off TBC).

Approximately 50 per cent of the ticket allocation will go on sale from the Box Office at Goodison Park tomorrow, and the remaining tickets will be available to buy from the ticket office at Malaga’s Lo Rosaleda stadium ONLY on the day of the game.

Tickets cost £36 if purchased in the UK and those supporters purchasing in Spain will be charged 45 Euros.

The Club do not envisage any capacity issues and as always, supporters are advised not to purchase tickets for the home areas of the ground.

The match against the La Liga club will be the final fixture in pre-season for David Moyes’ squad.

To purchase tickets, visit the Box Office at Goodison Park or call 0871 663 1878. Please note there will be NO online sales for this fixture.

Sales of this fixture will end at 6pm Thursday and then will only be available on the day of the game from the stadium.
    750 tickets?
    At £36 a pop?

Don't know which is funnier, the tiny allocation or the astronomical price.
