Morecambe Away; Jim Bentley Testimonial

Hi Guys,

Saturday 14th July sees what is expected to be a strong Everton team come to Morecambe to play in the testimonial of Morecambe manager Jim Bentley.

Apparently you have sold over 1,000 tickets for the game thus far, and so I thought I would pop on here and you let you know where to grab a beer and some good food on the day.

Regent Leisure Park, is 0.01 miles away from the Globe Arena, and is now known as the away fans watering hole pre match.

We have a large room with big screen tv, home cooked decent food, and a great atmosphere to go with, any Evertonians making the short journey to Morecambe will be welcome with us, for a few beers and something to eat. We are the closest pub to the ground by a long way, and for those travelling with children, we have an amusement arcade, and 2 play areas too.

Secure Parking will also be available for £2.00 per car.

If anyone has any questions regarding either Regent Leisure Park, or Morecambe in general please give me a shout.

I think anyone that comes in for a pint will be pleasantly surprised, and the ground is literally over the road.

Game kicks off at 2.00pm so we'll be ready you guys from 10am onwards.

Hi Guys,

Dont know about Ultra's, they can be a vocal bunch and try to create a decent atmosphere, but one things for sure there will be more away fans than home ones, sadly the people of Morecambe dont really get behind the team and the attendances have been pretty poor for the last few seasons.

Dont forget if anyone needs any help or info give me a shout !
