EVERTON COULD BE OUTBID BY AFRICAN CLUB

Apparently,3 South African clubs have their sights set on Stevie P and according to the article, they are prepared to pay him top dollar for his services.

Mamelody (sp) Sundowns is owned by a rich sugar daddy(he's apparently the richest man in that part of the world)

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates - the latter is said to be Pienaar's boyhood club - just signed a lucrative sponsorship deal worth 100 million pounds!!!!They also make a mint from merchandise,tv right deals etc!!!!

Bill and Dave need to get the Pienaar deal sorted out or we could lose him. Wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a Fabregaque stunt claiming that he is home sick and wants to go play for his boyhood club.

And as for Kenwright,he is a complete and utter disgrace. He needs to sell the club, A.S.AP.This is getting ridiculos, the premier league's supposed to be the richest league in the WORLD but we could get outbid for a player by a team that plays in a league that is regarded as only the 9th richest in the world, rediculous!!!!

P.S:I'LL POST THE LINK IN A SEC.

You need to stop believing everything you read on the internet or in the papers and relax a little bit. You'll do yourself some damage getting this angry over jarg nonsense....that or you're definitely trolling.

Even if this were true, and I'd be willing to stake my house on it not being so, then so be it. It's not going to be the end of Everton if we don't sign him.

Mate,it goes beyond losing PIENAAR. Yes, he is not indispensible and no one player is bigger than the club. What alarmed me about the article was the fact that 2 clubs that have a far smaller fanbase in comparison to Everton can secure a shirt sponsorship deal worth 100 million pounds!!!! Our excutives are either incredibly incompetent or they couldn't be bothered!!!Bill must eff off now, this is getting a bit ridiculous!!!!

They're sponsored by Vodacom, one of the largest mobile phone subsidiaries in the world and are two of the biggest teams in Africa, the population of which is much greater than that of Europe, it's notthat suprising that they have a large sponsorship deal. How long does the deal last anyway. £100m over 20 years is only £5m a year.

Nah mate, get your facts right. It s a 5-year deal worth 100 million pounds (50 million pounds for each clu. So in essence, they are each getting 10 million pounds per year, for 5 years, not 20 as you suggested. As i said, our exec's are either inept or they couldn't be bothered!!!

I'll bet you £1000 right now Pienaar does not play for an African club next season

Just 2 years ago, Spurs fans where confident that Luis Fabiano would never turn down Premier League football for a club in his native land. How did that end up?

Brazilian league is massive compared to the African leagues, some pundits seem to think the Brazilian league will be as big as European football is in the very near future.

You are going on as if Pienaar is linked to a club that plays it's football in SOMALIA!!!

This is a country that hosted the world cup just 2 years ago, they have the biggest economy in Africa and their local league is the 9th most commercially successful in the WORLD! If you did a little research like i did earlier on today you will find that they have a former Everton and Liverpool player plying his trade there(Sander Westerveld),Former Premier league player Luis Boa Morte and Champions League winner Benni McCarthy. Freddy ljumberg expressed his desire to join Kaizer Chiefs and Cleerence Seerdof said he wants to end his career at Ajax Cape Town(ajax amsterdam's sister clu. Quick tip for all you novice gamblers, a bit of research never hurt.Never bet against something that is not beyond the realms of possibility.
