    LET'S REMEMBER GARY ABLETT

It would be nice for the two clubs on Saturday to remeber Gary Ablett who was an FA Cup winner with both clubs as this occasion seems appropriate to celebrate this gentleman's life with a minutes applause wouldn't it?

I wonder which team he would be wanting to win on the day if he were there?

This would have been far more appropriate than a Hillsborough tribute.

This. And at least there wouldn't be that uncomfortable feeling that we were somehow at a disadvantage before the game even kicks off.

Ablett loved both teams and made that known so I personally think he would just have been glad that Everton and Liverpool had both made it to a semi final at wembley

It's a lovely idea but there's already going to be a minutes' silence for the Hillsborough victims.

What a great shout. Is it too late for the clubs to put something together? I know it is a little bit cliched but if both sets of supporters sent emails/tweets etc maybe something could be done.

Limpar on Calderwood, Ablett to his left, Limpar feeds it to Gary Ablett, Ablett, AMOKACHI'S UNMARKED IN THE MIDDLE, is this 4...IT IS FOUR!
And that's just one reason I love Gary Ablett.

Gary Ablett would of been 47 today.

Former Everton defender and Academy coach Gary Ablett would have been 47 today. Part of the Blues' 1995 FA Cup-winning team, he sadly passed away in January 2012 following a long battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

    R.I.P Gary Ablett.
