If we were doing a City then 3 years down the line the only current members of the squad in line for a place would be Baines, Fellaini & maybe Jags, Pienaar (if re-signed), Jelavic & perhaps Barkley. Anyway with the £50M received from sales & the £300M needed I've no idea who we'd get but we'd presumably be pretty boss. At any rate if the rest of the current starters were bench material that wouldn't half be a good team.

Baines, Heitinga, Fellaini and possibly Jelavic and Gibson for me. I would actually keep Neville in and around the squad too though hardly getting a game.

In an attempt to be fairly realistic (ie nobody from Barcelona will be forming a queue to join us even if we were newly rich) and keeping a few of our own players... Lescott and Rooney are rejoining us when their contracts run out....
