I think he was pretty rubish playing up front by himself.
He probably did need a second year, and I think it was a bit of an odd departure. By "odd" I mean it had to do with money somehow.
We're going to have to differ.
I saw Beckford do many right things with the ball, as well as bag very consistently. We just see what we want to see, and if we want to see his mistakes then that's all we'll focus on.
Anichebe on the other hand, while not really blundering constantly, seldom did anything of note, and hardly ever scored, which is kind of important if you are a striker.
He's like a luke warm cup of tea, you want to like it, but it's ****.
Hahaha, love the Anichebe analogy mate. I think we can agree that neither of them are the answer for us up front.
