I really hope he's sold by monday night. If we can get a fee and take his wages off the bill on top of the sales already made, then I really think we will have money to sign a decent player by january. I think we will of made over 20 million on transfer fees alone since last january, that's not including wages off the book. i think if we can coax a third of that then we can sign a good player.

But you're right. There's nothing to read into here. I expect him to go to Fenerbache still.
[Cough] Actually he did have to be included, you can only exclude players from your 25 man squad if you have 25 players other players registered.

Hence why Man City had to register Wayne Bridge, even though he has been training with the reserves and won't play a game for City again.

I can't believe we haven't signed Felli's compatriot Jelle Vossen. His release clause is meant to be £5 million, and he was the Belgian league's top scorer last year aged only 23.

    SIGN HIM UP FFS MOYLEZ.

    The Belgians are the future.

I'm hoping that Strac and Roy will come good, allowing us to prioritise scouring the globe for an Arteta replacemnet to spend our precious and rare rubles on.

Honestly I don't think we need a direct replacement.

A 4-2-3-1 with Felli and Rodwell in the 2 and Barkley, Osman and maybe Drenthe in the three should have enough to take on anyone.

It does seem like Fener have got Everton on it's back with it's pants down.

First declining to sign him for the pre-agreeded fee, despite in most cases impressing on loan and then getting him on loan again after Everton had previously rejected (albeit low) permanent offers.

You could even argue to get him on loan first time around was a very good deal for the Turks.

Anyway, can't argue. Moyes wants rid regardless of the benefits for the bank and I'm sure their is little bit of a loan fee. Anything that expands Moyles' transfer kitty is a good thing.

If we didn't loan him there would of been angry, you wouldn't like him when he's angry.

Unfortunately, we had no power in this deal. Fenerbahce knew we were desperate to get him off the books as we couldn't afford to keep him, so they made the lowest bid they could and stuck to it.

I'd be very surprised if the loan fee exceeded the £500k mark.
