the money for beckford was good though, selling yak for 1 mill, like you say given the state of attacking options, and that he banged in a fair few at blackburn, can't see the good side of that move

Moyes took the piss with Yak. I remember him scoring against Stoke, then Moyes instantly dropping him for Saha and loaning him out to Leicester. Next thing he's banging in 17 goals for Blackburn.
