Customising Profile

I am having a little play and wondered what it is that needs to go into the "background image" box to get it working? i've tried the IMG and HTML codes and the direct link?

i just noticed

"Background images must come from your albums. Enter the URL to a picture in one of your public or profile albums."

where are my albums?

also, i've changed my avatar and it appears to have shrunk, my old picture now comes up the same size, anyway of making it bigger?

i've put a pic on my profile and done an album, but the text doesnt show up too good, tried all the colours and the only one that stands out is the colour of satans children.
and i dont do red !!
