Biggest panto villain in Goodison on Sunday?

Moyes deserves any stick he gets for his multiple snide comments - but we also owe him a huge vote of thanks for taking Round with him. Fellaini's shown class and respect to Everton - I have no issue with him. And Neville's too thick to realize he's being boo-ed, so that's a waste of time. On...

Statistical Facts about Everton for Work Experience

A more current tidbit: no club in the Premier League era has had 60 (or more) points after 31 games and failed to finish in the top 4. This season 5 clubs, including both Everton and Arsenal, reached 60 points within the first 31 games. So that means that history will be made this season...

    Our biggest signing?

To consolidate what several others have posted in this thread separately: - English record transfer fee when we bought him - MoM World Cup Final - bought him young, had his best years with us - sold him for English record fee - had the boss-est boots Can only be Bally.

    Injury Update.

Lescott's happier warming a bench so he can collect medals than he would be playing regularly elsewhere. And a bench is where he should remain.

    Harry Caterick or Howard Kendall?

I'd agree with the general sentiment that the Catterick teams were (slightly) better. But as to who was the better manager, it's too close call.

    leightons done his phalange

Interesting that none of us are mentioning Oviedo at LB. Has that ship sailed?

    leightons done his phalange

I really hope we don't go 3 at the back, although Moyes did that last year against Stoke and it worked. But I think against the likes of United and Arsenal the risk is too high. Perhaps Distin at LB and Stones next to Jags?

WEST HAM UNITED VS EVERTON MATCH OFFIICIAL

Lee Mason's not the worst ref in the league - but that's mostly thanks to Kevin F(r)iend.

    Non-UK Evertonians

Canadian, but grew up in South Africa, and was "chosen by Alan Ball" in (late) 1966. Seen the Blues in action 5 times, and in December bringing my two offspring (18 and 20) to Goodison for their first ever visit (although they've seen the Blues in US and met some of the players).

    2013/14 PREDICTIONS

I agree that it's too early to make a call on where we'll finish - so much depends on players coming in and whether we hang on to Baines. But I see most of you have Man U relinquishing their title. I'm not so sure - I think they'll top the league again this season (but tail off thereafter).

    League of love (and hate)

Meaningless as these rankings are, I think the main reason for our "popularity" is Moyes. I'm a pundit on a football podcast, and the pundits from all the other clubs (even RS) have consistently ranked Moyes not only as a manager in terms of "over achieving", "eye for a bargain", etc. - but also...

What are your expectations for next season?

Exactly right. Just 5 or 6 additional goals this season would have seen us in 5th and possibly 4th.

    Moyes Potential Replacement

Perhaps we need a Scottish manager who'll be fiercely loyal to Everton, take no crap from BK or the press, and intimidate the heck out of both our squad and the opposition... ....sounds like Big Dunc to me, and it'd be very symmetrical - Moyes to ManU, Ferguson to Everton...
