That's the way I saw it too mate. They know they owe the fans.

I think he's tripping if he believes they'll get all 4 points back. Sounds desperate.

We should do mate, but I can see a very nervy 90 minutes where Dyche gets them behind the ball and hopes for Forest to make a massive defensive slip up.

I think we've been a reactive team for years under different managers. I have no expectations of us taking the game to Forest.

Biggest game since B'mouth last game of last season IMO. We're cobbling together a team to put out too it looks like. We really need to do something different on Sunday to what we've been doing. I'd be doing what we did against B'mouth last season too: Garner on the right. Needs must again...

Just to reiterate again on Forest: if we can get a win on Sunday we're in a commanding position in our battle with them. They'd have 4 games left with 4 points to make up on us: 2 at home against formidable opposition in City and Chelsea, and 2 away. The two away are against bottom 3 clubs, but...

...always assuming he'd have been wiling to in a season when he had the Euros coming down the track. Not sure Clarke would have been too impressed. He defo needs to be at that level though.

We get no luck with this lad. The Euros could have regained some value lost on him and a sale this summer. Hopefully he gets back fit for them and puts himself in the shop window. Every penny will count for us this summer if we stay up.

I agree. Maximum of 7 I think...and I think we'll have to improve about 50% to get that many. Still, there are 4 winnable games for sure. Burnley was winnable and we managed to get the three points on offer. I suspect we will a couple times more.

Goal scorers are rewarded, I suppose. The contract renewal was last November after he'd scored his 3rd for the current season and we were flying.

I agree that if you want to play a possession game you don't play Doucoure. But we're not a possession based team. If we get away from that with another coach, ditch Doucoure, I suppose. But until then I have the feeling he'll weigh in again before the season is out and he'll hand a couple...

He should't have deviated from it at Chelsea. That mauling was 100% down to him.

Patterson can deliver a very dangerous ball. That ball to Danjuma was a peach and I said so at the time. But he can't do it often enough for our purposes. I can understand the desire to play a more offensive FB but the pros don't outweigh the cons of using Patterson. Last game aside, our...

A win against Forest no matter what Luton gets this weekend settles the nerves down. Even if they win and we win they'll still be adrift of us with 4 to play - and more of a danger to Forest. We need this win - it goes without saying.
