    2023/24 Kevin Thelwell

I think Chermiti may well prove to be a very good signing, if he realises his potential, he may well be worth double what we paid for him in eighteen months time.

    The Littlewoods clock.

Arsenal were always a club with class and tradition, as indeed were we.

    John Textor

Not that bad mate, I lived in Streatham for a couple of years in the 80s, often went to Selhurst park. I enjoyed my time in sarf landan.

    Forgotten Everton Songs

Im a bow legged chicken and a knock kneed hen I haven't been so happy since I don't know when I walk with a wiggle and a waggle and a squawk Doing the Everton boot walk. Bertie Mee asked Don Revie Have you heard of Highbury? Don said no, I don't think so But I've heard of the Everton aggro...

The tale of legendary Everton manager Harry Catterick:

They really should have won a lot more between 67 and 70. That team, when it eventually won the league, was actually on the way down. They had hit their peak in the 2 preceding seasons and anyone who watched them at the time would still be hard pressed to answer why they didn't win more...

Best Everton Centre Back pairing and best individual Centre Back

For most blues as old as me, the best partnership has to Labone and Hurst, as to the best individual, I would say Labone, but, I was too young to see Tommy Jones play, my eldest brother and my Dad reckoned he was the best.

    So who will it be?

I suppose it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that Downing, Bell and MSP take control in the short term, to protect their money by keeping us out of administration. That would give Testor some breathing time in order to sell his Palace shares and get Premier League approval.

Farewell Goodison Park. A mother, a servant, a guardian, a beloved home.

Exactly mate, 65,000 capacity, double decker all the way round and the old Goodison road was truly massive terrace, with the old main stand above it. It seems like yesterday when I first stood in Goodison, in reality it's over 60 years ago, happy happy days. What a great club we were then...

    The late, great, Alan Ball

He was no longer intimidated by the Catt, Joey. Anyone who didn't live in fear of the Catt had to go.

    2023/24 Jack Harrison

I don't rate him too highly, but, Dyche evidently does. I can see the attraction for Dyche, he runs tirelessly, backs up his full black constantly and buys into the system. I believe that there is a clause in his contract to the effect that if Leeds are not in the prem, he has to be allowed to...

    2023/24 James Tarkowski

When we signed him I thought 3 years was too long a contract offer for a player of his age. What an absolutely misguided notion that was. He has been a pure gold signing.

Everton ideas for last season at goodison

Yeah, but not with the chain link fencing at the top that they added in the 70's, at least have it like it was in the 60's, when you could wait for the copper on Gladys St. to walk past and then make the great escape, over the railings and down into the St. end. I don't think I spent a full...

    2023/24 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I'd like Calvert Lewin to stay, but, only if he signs a new contract. If not, I really think we need to cash on him this summer.

    2023/24 Ashley Young

Quote the whole statement I made, yes it led to a goal, but, it wouldn't have if Young had done his job. Did you ever play football and if you did, did you have it drilled into you ' play the whistle' ? Well Young didn't do his job, if he had, the VAR call would have been irrelevant. As I...

    2023/24 Ashley Young

Yes, but, that was earlier in the move and does not excuse Evergreen Ashley, not for the first time this season he has cost us the game. Never mind blaming the ref, he's a crap ref, but, that's beside the point, if Evergreen does his job, it doesn't matter that Oliver hasn't given the hand ball.

    2023/24 Ashley Young

Exactly, an aging top class player, his football brain carries him through for a while, but, his lack of mobility and pace mean that even after a reasonably solid display,he is always likely to be caught out. It's happened too frequently this season and doesn't bode well for next season.

    Barkley..again

Dyche wouldn't have Barkley anywhere near the team, although I think lots of his decisions are questionable, I would have to back him up on that one.

    2023/24 Ashley Young

Mate, if you can't see that there is a potentially game losing howler in Ashley every time he plays, tell me what you're drinking before you watch the playbacks... He is a liability.
