No matter what you think of BK, he's only ever hired one manager so far, taking a risk on a young, unknown fellow with red hair. That seemed to work out OK. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt...
Actually, I just thought of this: in short order at Goodison, Wigan beat us 3-0 and we beat City 2-0, so that means Wigan would win the final 5-0 (if it was at Goodison).
Great suggestions, keep 'em coming, I'm almost starting to believe.
I'll definitely credit (blame?) GrandOldTeam on the podcast.
1985-86 ?
We should have won the Double.
But we blew it at Oxford and THEY did, for the first and only time in their history. To swallow a more bitter pill would be nigh on impossible.
Oh...
I'm recording on a Canadian "soccer" podcast tomorrow previewing the FA Cup Final, and for some reason I'm supposed to make the case for Wigan. (If only, if only.....).

In terms of popularity, it's really exploded. In terms of quality, let's just say it's probably at the same level as downhill skiing in Jamaica.

Exactly what I said.
Have to justify having sprung for season tickerts - again!!?! - somehow.
Nah, this year Toronto FC will win it all....
(Shirt, did I say that out loud?)
Will be in Pittsburgh April 7, early Sunday game at Spurs. Anywhere in Pittsburgh to catch the game?
Good shout. I recall reading somewhere that he had more defensive headed clearances from corners, per game, than anyone else a couple of years back.
Zaha is ace foe me on FIFA 2012.
Same.
That's correct, but as Sid says, we seem to have a very small core of guys who show up at Scallys regularly, and the rest are wishy-washy at best (and lately that's included me, sadly).
Sid, I'd...
There's usually a few of us at Scallywags for a game, but since the founder of TorontoToffees moved to Edmonton, it's been rather wishy-washy. Probably needs someone to actively promote as there are...
Tough to narrrow it down, so being totally ruthless, pick maximum of one per decade:
60s - Ball
70s - Lyons
80s - Southall (this was the toughest choice)
90s - Big Dunc
00s - Cahill
10s - so...
