It's not going to be comfortable until we're mathematically safe and I haven't got any fingernails left to chew - but at this stage I'd be gobsmacked if we're not still in the Premier League next season.
Aren't they supposedly going to be a bit hamstrung with regards to signings this summer because of FFP/P&S?
Bearing in mind they recently sold an academy graduate for £100mill odd and are no doubt finishing at the right end of the table.
Well, yes we beat them at home this season.
But we drew at Stamford Bridge last season, and drew with the RS at home (which we have done 8 of the last 10 Goodison derbys).
Your negativity is baffling.
Not a bad set of results for us at all yesterday.
Regardless of who the games in hand are against, Luton and Forest will be looking at our league position with envy. Having clear daylight between us and the bottom 4 having played 2 games less at this stage of the season - after all the off the...
Quietly confident we can get a result out of these. They blow very hot and cold and have a considerable injury list.
I'd be disappointed if we don't get anything from the game.
If I'm not mistaken, we were lower than that until the USM sponsorship came to a grinding halt. You'd hope that when we *finally* get new owners they'll bring with them some sponsorship streams which will bump up our revenue and therefore bring down the wage %age.
I reckon the results on Saturday has all but relegated them to be honest. If they'd got a result out of us and Luton lost to Bournemouth they might have just about had a chance of staying up. They've got to earn 6 points just to catch where Luton are now.
